Leduc & Beaumont

Basement waterproofing and foundation repair in Leduc & Beaumont.

Leduc and Beaumont are among the fastest-growing communities in the region, and most of the housing stock is recent. That creates a specific and slightly counterintuitive problem: newer homes leaking sooner than their owners expect.

Two things drive it. First, the land here is flat. Without natural slope, surface water depends entirely on engineered grading, and engineered grading settles. A lot that shed water perfectly at possession can be holding it against the wall eight years later. Second, new construction is damp-proofed, not waterproofed, so there is very little between that pooled water and your basement.

June 2026 made this visible across the whole area. Record rainfall on flat, saturated ground had nowhere to go, and a lot of homeowners in Leduc and Beaumont found out how their drainage actually performs.

Common Questions

Leduc & Beaumont homeowner questions.

My Beaumont house is six years old and the basement took water in June 2026. Is that normal?

It is common, and it is not a defect claim you will usually win. New homes are damp-proofed to code, and code does not require a waterproofing system. A record rainfall on flat, saturated ground exposes that gap. The fix is usually cheaper than people fear at this stage: correcting grading and downspout discharge, and sealing the specific crack the water found. Catching it in year six rather than year sixteen is a real advantage.

Should I regrade before waterproofing?

Sometimes regrading and downspout correction alone solves it, and if that is what your inspection shows, that is what we will tell you. It only works when the entry point is surface water and the wall itself is otherwise sound. If water is coming up at the wall-floor joint, that is groundwater and grading will not touch it.

Do you cover Nisku and Leduc County?

Yes. We work Leduc, Beaumont, Nisku and the surrounding county. Rural and county properties often need the discharge and surface drainage assessed alongside the foundation, since there is frequently no storm connection to tie into.

Do you charge for the inspection or the quote?

No. The on-site inspection and the written quote are both free, with no obligation. We would rather look at it properly and tell you the truth about what it needs, including when it needs less than you expected.

How fast can you come out?

Usually within a few days for a standard inspection, and faster when there is active water. We are reachable daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. If water is coming in right now, call 780-910-6196 and say so.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Every exterior waterproofing job carries a written workmanship warranty, and the terms are in the quote you receive before you agree to anything.

Water doesn't wait. Neither should you.

After the extreme heavy rainfalls in Edmonton this July, Milad's came out, inspected, and provided a reasonable quote quickly. A 7 foot foundation crack was fixed and secured well. They even hauled extra clay to low spots around the foundation and cleaned up so well afterwards.
