Milad's Waterproofing is a basement waterproofing and foundation repair company based at 13458 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, Alberta. This page explains what we collect through miladswaterproofing.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act.
What you give us
When you fill out the quote form we ask for your name and phone number. Email address and a description of the problem are optional. We use these only to contact you about your inspection, to prepare your written quote, and to carry out any work you go on to book.
If you text us a photo, it stays with your request. We do not publish customer photos on the site or on social media without asking you first.
What is collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how people find and use the site. Depending on which tools are active, this can include:
- Google Analytics, which records pages viewed, approximate location by city, device type, and how you arrived. It does not tell us who you are.
- Meta Pixel, which lets us measure how our Facebook and Instagram posts perform and show ads to people who have visited the site. Meta may match this activity to a Facebook or Instagram account it already holds.
- Netlify, which hosts the site, keeps standard server records including IP address, and stores form submissions.
How to opt out
You can block these at the source rather than relying on us:
- Turn off or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Adjust ad settings inside your Facebook account.
- Use your browser's private mode, or a tracking blocker.
Blocking any of this does not affect the quote form. It will still work and we will still reply.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not trade or rent contact lists. Your details are seen by the people at Milad's Waterproofing who handle your job, and by the service providers who run the site and our messaging tools on our behalf. We release information to authorities only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept while we are in touch with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can look up a past job if you call back about it. Records connected to completed work are kept longer for warranty and accounting purposes.
Want your information removed? Call or text 780-910-6196, or write to us at 13458 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5A 1C5. Tell us the phone number you used and we will delete the record. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, so anything you type into the form is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if a breach ever affects your information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
